Redmond-based Microsoft acquires California-based MongoMusic. The acquisition of the company which provides music technology for the internet, was made in an all-stock transaction valued at $65 million.

Portland-based MetStream Communications, an integrated communications service provider closes its Series A round with $4 million from Vertex and Integrated Electrical Services.

MetStream will use the money to hire staff in Portland and Seattle.

Portland-based @Once, and Internet messaging provider, has secured $8.1 million in a Series C round of funding from Olympic Venture Partners and previous individual investors.

OVP Partner David Chen will join @Once’s board of directors.

Seattle-based digiMine, an application service provider of business intelligence solutions, has secured $20 million in a series B round of funding led by venture capital firm Mayfield Fund.

As part of the financial agreement, Mayfield managing general partner Yogen Dalal will serve as a director on digiMine’s board of directors and Mayfield venture partner Dana Seattle will serve as an advisor on digiMine’s advisory board.

Redmond-based crossgain.com, a start-up company founded by former Microsoft executives and software engineers, today announced that Benchmark Capital and The Barksdale Group have invested $10 million dollars in the company.

The company’s software service, which uses XML technology as a foundation, promises the ability to quickly build and deploy inter and intra-company business logic. The product is currently entering alpha testing and the company expects to begin delivering the service early next year.

Seattle-based eNIC Corporation, the worldwide Registry for the .CC Top Level Domain, has received a strategic financing commitment of $25 million from Malaysia-based MOL.com Berhad.
